Kevin Adamson has represented thousands of juveniles over the years, including a large number of high profile cases in the greater Sacramento area.
Mr. Adamson represented a juvenile client in adult court on a high profile murder case that went to trial in May of 2013. The jury acquitted his client on all counts. See Sacbee article at:

Mr. Adamson represented one of the defendants in the "Monk Mob" murder case, a case in which ten alleged gang members were charged with the shooting death of a Halloween party host and the shooting of four other party guests. After a negotiated plea the client received an 11 year sentence in prison.
Mr. Adamson represented the juvenile in Placer County charged with throwing the hot spinach in the face of the Boston Market drive-thru employee. The District Attorney later agreed to dismiss their motion to try the client as an adult and the case settled favorably in Juvenile Court.
Mr. Adamson represented the juvenile charged with vehicular manslaughter in the “Folsom Street Racing” death of a respected Cameron Park elementary teacher. As reported in the Sacramento Bee and on local news channels, the client received a 180 day sentence.
Mr. Adamson represented one of the minors charged in the McClatchy High School gun and conspiracy to commit murder case. As reported by the Sacramento Bee and local media, all charges were dismissed other than the gun possession charge and the client is now home with his family.
Mr. Adamson represented the 14 year old boy charged with conspiring to murder students at Don Julio Jr. High School. As reported by the Sacramento Bee and KFBK, the case eventually settled for a misdemeanor and the boy was released from juvenile hall.
Mr. Adamson represented a 16 year old boy facing a 12 year sentence in adult court for armed robbery. After a thorough defense investigation it was found that the alleged victim, another 16 year old boy, fabricated the story to explain to his father (a correctional officer) why the father’s gun was missing. The case was dismissed.
Mr. Adamson represented a 16 year old boy facing a 15 year adult sentence for armed robbery after a group of Russian immigrants were robbed at gunpoint. During a preliminary hearing, the Prosecution’s main witness acknowledged that he purposely wrongfully identified the client at the scene; he testified that his best friend had committed the armed robbery and that he did not want his friend to go to prison so he identified the guy police had rounded up – the wrong guy. The case was dismissed.
